Today the Chabo is present in the Netherlands in almost every recognized colour. The specific Chabo colours as White black tail and Yellow black tail are of course popular, but also other colours or the several varieties as the common natural feathered, the frizzle feathered, de silky feathered and the tailless are well represented amongst the Dutch Chabo owners. Next to that, there are also short tailed, low tailed and large crested varieties and there are even bearded Chabo's , although their presence in the Netherlands is rare. 

The present quality of the Chabo in the Netherlands is worldwide recognized as very high. Animals of good quality and with the adequate appearance are very often presented, but the Chabo is also by its many differences of colours and varieties really an attraction on shows.
